It’s time for Alberta to join the global clean energy movement by renewing its support for renewable power — creating jobs and building prosperity in a climate-safe future! 

Globally, a massive energy transition is underway. Already, 30 per cent of the world’s energy comes from clean technologies, like wind and solar power, with more renewable energy added every day. Over the next decade, new clean energy generation is expected to overtake polluting fossil fuel industries by becoming cheaper and more abundant than ever before. 

This is the world’s fastest-growing energy market, but Alberta is missing out. In February of 2024, the government imposed unfair rules on Alberta’s clean energy industry. These new rules are costing us billions of dollars in investment and thousands of jobs, while increasing the cost of living with high energy prices.
 
Alberta has lots of sun and wind, meaning we are poised for success. We just need to reverse industry-crippling restrictions on renewable energy to tap into the massive investments being made in solar and wind energy around the world! At the same time, we need a new plan to harness the power of Alberta’s clean energy resources in a responsible, equitable, and beneficial way for all.

Tell the Alberta government it's time to turn the power back on for Alberta’s clean energy future!
