Good things grow in Ontario because we have some of the best farmland in Canada.  Unfortunately, we are losing hundreds of acres of our precious farmland every single day due to sprawl development and poor planning.

Ask your MPP to protect our farmland by:

• Growing the Greenbelt, instead of shrinking it
• Reinstating regional planning rules that encourage cities and towns in the Greater Golden Horseshoe to avoid expanding their boundaries into farmland unless absolutely necessary
• Cancelling or re-routing the proposed Highway 413, which would pave 2000 acres of high-quality farmland in Peel, York, and Halton Regions
