On Sunday June 22nd, join Environmental Defence for a bus tour of renewable energy in Toronto!
Have you ever wondered how renewable energy systems like solar, wind and geothermal work? Or whether these systems can actually power our city? Across Toronto, individual homeowners, businesses and institutions have already implemented renewable energy solutions which are helping to reduce pollution and help us make progress towards our municipal climate goals.
Hop on board the Road to Renewable Bus Tour for exciting visits to renewable energy projects and learn about the opportunities for a clean, affordable and reliable energy future for Toronto.
What to expect: We will be travelling by chartered bus to three different sites in the downtown area, where we will hear from experts and community leaders at the forefront of the renewable energy transition in Toronto. We'll end the tour with a light lunch and a collaborative vision building session of Toronto's energy future!
