Difficulty: Moderate- some terrains are a bit uneven but we will walk at a leisurely pace

Join us on Saturday, October 18 at 10:30a.m at the Nashville Conservation Reserve for a guided walk to look at the beautiful fall foliage and learn more about species, the river and the diverse ecology of the Nashville Conservation Reserve.
The Nashville Conservation Reserve is a large Toronto and Region Conservation in York Region. The landmass is over 2,200 acres and is found within the main subwatershed of the Humber River Watershed. The conservation is home to a vast variety of wildlife and is an important migratory corridor. The Nashville Conservation Reserve is an integral part of the region’s natural heritage system. It is under direct threat from the proposed Mega-highway 413.
There is limited parking available at the Nashville Conservation Reserve. There will be buses available at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (3150 Hwy 7, Vaughan, ON) and at the Nobleton Community Centre (15 Old King Rd, Nobleton). Please fill out this form if you plan on attending this event from one of the provided buses. Those who attend the guided walk are encouraged to enjoy a lunch at the Kortright Centre. Those who were bused to the NCR will be bused to the Kortright Centre and then back to the initial meeting points.
Please remember to bring a refillable water bottle, a hat and a light coat. We are expecting beautiful but chilly weather. Please keep in mind there are no bathrooms in the Conservation Reserve.
