This month, we're heading to the Oak Ridges Conservation Reserve for a guided hike through one of York Region's most beautiful natural areas — and a closer look at what the forest can actually do for us.
On the trail, we'll explore the practice of forest bathing, learn about the medicinal properties of plants and how they've been used throughout history, and spend some time simply being in a green space and noticing how it feels. It ties into something we've been thinking about all month: that time in nature isn't just a nice-to-have — it's genuinely good for our bodies and minds.
