Help create a better future

Save Our Waterfront: Community Art & Action Gathering

Thursday July 23, 6 - 8 p.m | 33 Cecil Street

Join your neighbours for a community gathering to help save our waterfront! We are coming together to create posters for our upcoming rally, and to transform repurposed lifejackets into powerful protest art against the proposed Toronto Island airport expansion.

Why It Matters

The expansion of the Toronto Island Airport would mean commercial jets roaring overhead and more air pollution settling over our neighbourhoods. It would be the end of our vision of a waterfront where families can swim, walk and breathe clean air. The proposed expansion would threaten our public waterfront, increase pollution and disrupt local wildlife. We must come together to say NO to jets on our waterfront.
