 🌳 Cooksville SNAP &
Reconnect Mississauga Neighbourhood Walk🌳

Saturday, September 27th | 9am - 11:30am | Cooksville Park

Join Reconnect Mississauga and Credit Valley Conservation’s Watershed Monitoring team for a neighbourhood walk along the Cooksville Creek.

Did you know the secret to understanding Cooksville Creek’s health is hiding under the rocks? Put on your boots and step into the shoes of a stream scientist! Together, we’ll look for benthic macroinvertebrates, the fascinating bugs that live at the bottom of streams, rivers, lakes and wetlands.

Discover what these underwater beings reveal about our local water quality through fun, hands-on exploring for all ages!

This event is part of the Cooksville Sustainable Actions Neighbourhood Plan (SNAP) and everyone is welcome to join, whether you live, work or play in Cooksville (or beyond)!
