A linear economy digs up resources to make products that end up in the trash. A circular economy is more elegant and efficient and it comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes from libraries to clothing swaps to recycling and DIY repairs!
We're hosting a fireside chat with the organizers of recent circular economy events that have happened right here in Oakville.
We'll talk about how the circular economy could evolve and expand in Oakville, but we'll also dig into the details of hosting a successful event: choosing a venue, doing promotions on a limited budget, adapting to surprises. Find out what's working well in Oakville and hear about ways you can get involved in the circular economy!
