When: Saturday, October 24th, 10:30 AM -12:00 PM
Where: Sherwood Forest Park, 683 Fothergill Blvd.
Cost: Free
Difficulty Level: Easy
This is an easy, accessible guided hike at Sherwood Forest Park and the leaves will hopefully be in all their fall finery!
We’ll spend about an hour and a half exploring the park, learning a little about our local ecosystems, and enjoying some time outside with neighbours.
We’ll also have a chance to check out an area where we did some invasive plant species removal earlier this year and see how it’s coming along!
Disclaimer: Environmental Defence Canada (EDC) is not responsible for the safety of attendees. Hiking involves risks that are beyond the control of EDC, the Reconnection Project Regional Coordinators, and staff or volunteers leading the event. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and terrain.
