Wasaga Beach is Ontario's most critical site for the endangered, migratory shorebird, the piping plover. Now that the Ontario government has removed 60% of the Wasaga Beachfront from the Provincial Park and plans to transfer it to the Town of Wasaga Beach, the piping plover's irreplaceable habitat is at risk of destruction.

With your help, we can push the federal government to issue an Emergency Order under the Federal Species at Risk Act to protect their critical habitat at Wasaga Beach from destructive, mechanical raking planned for this spring by the Town of Wasaga Beach.
